Ines Lejarraga is a LEED Accredited Professional who has practiced in New York, Paris, and San Francisco. She holds architectural degrees from Columbia University, and the University of California, Berkeley. Ms. Lejarraga's continuing connection to academia through teaching allows her to integrate her research in design with her practice. She has taught at UC Berkeley and is now a lecturer at the California College of the Arts. She is a co-founder of LINES, a design research think tank with a focus on sustainability and social responsibility. LINES earned "Top Submission" in Dwell Magazine's Parkitecture competition for a speculative green garage design for the future. She has won various travel fellowships to pursue these research goals including the Chester Miller Fellowship and a UNESCO travel grant. Prior to founding Lejarraga Studio she has worked at STUDIOS Architecture, where she worked for several years on commercial and institutional projects, HOOD Design, where she worked on urban landscape projects, and Butler Armsden Architects, where she worked on residential projects in Sea Cliff and Tiburon.
